Orwell presents the world of 1984 as a precedent that might occur if the world does non become wondrous of all the terrible problems that are happening around us. Orwell did not intend for his readers to view 1984 as a Satire.
The warning presented is powerful. When we let ourselves to sit and just think care copiousy about the satellites that target read license plates on a random thoroughfare and computers that place hack into telephone calls. Or if we just mold back and think about what would happen to the world if gnomish memory chips were put in our childrens arms as soon as they are born. People can cope about if 1984 is or is not a satire but no one can deny how powerful this fable has a hold of everyones imagination. In 1984 Orwell is trying to designate his readers the government and how it works. Orwell is trying to show the world that if eyes are not opened we can become a collective society with out dismantle realizing it:

Who controls the past, ran the company slogan, controls the future: who controls the present controls the past. And yet the past, though of its disposition alterable, never had been altered. Winston believes that as long as a persons cognisance of the truth can be verified then even a lie can become the truth. Such is the Partys way of control.


The government has overall control in what happens in our country. However, if they ever try to take our rights and freedom off we the mountain need to stand up and act in the lead it is too late. We can not let it get to the aspire where the pressure of the government is so strong that the people can not stand on their own two feet. That is what the people of Oceania let happen.
