We learned about many different empires and were able to chink how no two civilizations have the same beliefs, method of ruling, and evening the authority of life. The Han Dynasty in china and the Mauryan/Gupta in India show us this. Even though each empire is different in its own ways, there are also some characteristics that both share. Both China and India had their individual achievements that were successful for each empire.
The Han Dynasty lasted for everyplace four hundred years. The Han Dynasty had a golden age simply with all empires. During this time the Han rulers expanded territory. More land government agency more people and more trade. Once they expanded they came in direct contact India. The Han dynasty had to make more roads and canals in order to make it easier, and more organized to trade. The rulers of the Han Dynasty enforced slumber throughout the entire empire. Peace leads to a time of owing(p) prosperity. The Han Dynasty took after the Qin dynasty. They took some ideas of how they ran the government and improved the Han government. By doing this, they created a strong central government. For the first time women were allowed to be incite of the government. There was something called a civil service exam which you took if you cherished a government job.



The government of the Han dynasty followed the Confucian philosophy. They made iodine law code that everyone had to follow with one tax revenue system, this way everyone was equal and no one was more superior than others. The tax system was needed because they needed to upkeep the roads, bridges, and canals that they built and cash was needed in order to do so.
In 321 a man by the name of Chandragupta Maurya created the first empire in India. The government in India was ruled by the kings personal power. Chandragupta was a harsh ruler.
