Dear United States Treasury Department,
It is time to tell apart a new face for the $20 bill, and Ive elect somebody who I think best represents the antebellum period. I concluded that we should choose a person whose morals buttocks be held to the test of time. America needs to celebrate soul who lived with confidence in their virtues, and passionately advocated for their cause. Most importantly, we need someone who agreed with the ambiguous statement All men ar created equal, and wouldve supported the statement as we do today, defending what the veridical words say, and not what was implied. William Lloyd Garrison did solely of this with his fiery nonconforming attitude that opposed an omnipotent pro-slavery ideology, and also supported womens rights. He fought slavery with pen and paper by view multiple writing pieces, that today seem more equivalent works of art. He wrote everything from eloquent poems promoting liberty, to gruesome columns that portrayed the perils of slavery. Conflicts oer slavery characterize this time period, so we must give out honorable recognition to the relentless man who put his vivification at risk for American freedom by adhering to his debatable opinion, and ultimately gained widespread exposure.

There are innumerable events that make up the antebellum, or in other words pre-war period, and we all know how it ended. Our civil war was deep seeded in the issues between the North and South, and the whole period before it was unfeignedly a time when tensions came to fruition. Garrison brought about these tensions, and sought to piddle his point across by creating controversy. He thought that by fanning the flames, the issue would no longer be overlooked. His anti-slave societies created conflict, which helped put stuff on congress regarding western slave holding.
